The 2nd generation GEN2 specification, defined by General Motors for turbocharged direct-injection gasoline (TGDI) engines, inhibits the effect of uncontrolled LSPI ignition, which causes shock and potentially serious engine damage. Also recommended for HONDA, SUBARU and TOYOTA gasoline engines.
